What am i HODLing:
Now that we survived September, which historically is the worst-performing month for the stock market, let’s dive into the best-performing month: April.
April is a big month…. and not just because it’s my birth month.

April vs. September: The GOAT & WOAT
Ever noticed that stocks in April seem to have an extra spring in their step, while in September they're more sluggish? Here’s why these performance trends occur:
Taxing Times: In April, Uncle Sam’s tax refunds come pouring in. That’s lovely news for investors. Many excitedly invest that extra cash, giving the market a potential boost.
Summertime Sadness: As the summer sun preheats the United States and people start to take their family vacations, trading volumes drop. With fewer trades, the market loses some of its predictability.
Fall Break: Come September, expenses rise — think back-to-school fees and prepping for the year’s end. Some investors sell stocks to cover these costs, which can put a dampener on market enthusiasm.
Self-Fulfilling Prophesy: Past financial downturns in September causes investor sentiment to shift to more cautiousness. No one wants history to repeat itself when their money’s on the line.
In a nutshell: While April brings optimism and September more sadness, it’s essential to remember that investing is not a sprint: it’s a marathon.
One month should not affect your long-term strategy.
